Stasera è la sera di Believer 2, fresco fresco di uscita (su Netflix). Consigliata la visione di Believer, che però su Netflix non c’è e in Italia sembra non sia su alcuna piattaforma streaming… ma lo trovi su Internet. Su Internet si trova tutto, o quasi, a saper cercare, giusto?

Al cinema c’è (forse) l’ultimo film di Ken Loach, The Old Oak, ma stasera non è la sera giusta. Domani o domenica. Può attendere.
The Creator
The Economist l’ha inserito nei suoi (14) migliori film dell’anno. Io l’ho visto giusto per John David Washington. Posso dirti tranquillamente che a metà stavo per spegnere tutto e invece no, ho perseverato, per due motivi: volevo rivedere un po’ di Thailandia, dove è stato girato il film e volevo anche poterlo giudicare con cognizione di causa. Ha ragione quel critico che ha scritto:
In pratica è un remix di n film già visti. Visualmente può essere visionario, glielo concedo, ma sul piano della storia niente di nuovo e, tutto sommato, ci sono anche dei buchi. Se non ha avuto successo al botteghino un motivo c’è. Non te lo consiglio, neanche per passare una serata senza pensieri.

Continuo a vedere Fellow Travelers e mi piace l’idea di avere un appuntamento il venerdì, giorno di uscita dei nuovi episodi. Siamo al quarto. Finalmente ho trovato i titoli d’apertura, lodati da Indiewire, a cui mi accodo.

La settimana prossima Einaudi pubblica Come uccidere il tuo capo di Rupert Holmes. Non volendo attendere, ho scaricato la versione originale e ha un incipit simpatico:

Altra copertina che mi ha incuriosito è quella di Bell’abisso di Yamen Manai. Il libro, tra l’altro, ha vinto molti premi letterari.

Ieri quarto bagno al mare del mese di novembre, record assoluto. Oggi ero tentato, ma il vento da nord ovest mi ha dissuaso rapidamente.
Grande novità: la settimana prossima ho una data in cui dovrei finalmente cambiare aria, per un paio di settimane o quasi. Si tratta del 23 Novembre. Vediamo che succede. Ho bisogno di una scossa alla routine, seppur felice e sana.
